We took a quick visit to "This Is the Place Heritage Park" We didn't go into the village because it cost money.
Then we went up Big Cottonwood Canyon for a dinner in the outdoors. We cooked a YUMMY apple cobbler in our Dutch Oven and we cooked Brawts over coals. However, I forgot to bring foil and ended up asking another camp sight for foil.
Of course, it's never a summer outing without a 3 year old getting hurt. Poor thing. I was teaching her how to skip.
